Frequently asked questions

Do you have a map of {this} location?

Yes! I have at least one or two map options for EVERY location in the world, and for most locations I have many options. Map scales and appearances vary but since I use mainly the same series you can get a good idea of what you can expect from looking at my listings and the examples in them.

How long will my order take?

Unframed non-personalized orders usually ship within a week, and often even same-day! For personalized prints if you review your proof and approve the design quickly it can be as soon as 2-5 days. If you order personalized art then please be sure to review your proof and reply quickly if you are in a hurry to receive your order. Framing takes 1 week, and that week will start as soon as your art is approved. Please keep that in mind when ordering framed prints. Oversized prints (20x24") also take about 5 days to process after design approval.

Will my art come framed?

Please read the listing you bought/will buy because this will be answered in the description! Most listings are for unframed art and framing must be added separately. Some listings have framing built into them as an option, which you can select as you add it to the cart.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We offer gift packaging that can be added at checkout. Wrapped prints and frames will be wrapped with one of our cute papers, and tied with a ribbon. It's a great touch if you're shipping directly to a gift recipient.

Can you change the color/text on this print?

Yes! Almost all of the art in my shop can be customized. Please send me a message about a specific request, but for most orders you can simply leave a note at checkout and I will send a proof with the updates.

Who can I call to discuss my order?

At this time I am getting so many orders that I can just barely keep up -- which is such a blessing, but it is tricky to manage the ~50-80 conversations per day! Instead of calling, please message or email me (hopefully after reading the FAQ and details of the listing you purchased, where most questions are answered!)

I really appreciate all of my customers and I do my best to reply as fast as possible, but communicating via email/messages is best so that I can take care of things in the right order.

Can I copy your designs and sell them?

No, you may not. This is not only my livelihood but that of my employees, and I will vigorously defend my rights. Please do not copy or reproduce my art in any way, and do not distribute it. Anyone found in violation will be pursued immediately and thoroughly. Dig inside and come up with your own designs, and the chances are you'll find something great, and you will feel so much better about selling it!

That being said I wish other Etsy sellers the very best in your ventures and I am happy to offer advice on how to grow your shop!

What if I don't like my proof?

We do not offer cancellations of customized artwork after the proof has been created, however if you decide you would prefer we will refund all but $25 (to cover the time already spent creating your personalized art). 

In almost every case we have multiple maps available for each location and we can find maps you will like even if it takes a couple of revisions.

Do you have a brick and mortar store?

We do have a brick and mortar location in Duvall, WA called The Dell General. You can find many samples of my map art there, along with curated gift and home goods from other excellent makers around the world. Can you ship to a PO Box

Yes but for framed orders there is a fee because it is much more expensive. Please see the shipping upgrade for PO Boxes if you are shipping a framed print to one.
